Come pray with me

Months ago, I started this prayer request post for anyone who needs prayer and I now want to repost for new followers to also join in. I’d love to have you join us. Many of you have come to me for prayer and I want my blog to truly be a haven for all who are broken and in need of support. Please reach out. 🤗

Recently, I’ve started a prayer journal that I’d love to add you to, if you wish, so we can take the next steps in healing together.

Please write your requests in the comments below, only share what feels comfortable to you, feeling free to lift up others that post as well.

Let’s rally together and go before the throne of grace with bold hearts of hope.

I’ll begin….

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you this day in the name of Jesus asking you to hear our cries and bring hope, healing, peace, and truth to our lives.

We can do nothing without you and you’ve promised that with YOU all things are possible.

Please forgive us for our unbelief and strengthen our hearts to receive your spirit this day, opening our eyes to see how much you give and how blessed we really are.

Thank you for your finished work on the cross. Thank you for your love and please, I ask, help us to know more fully of this love, each and every day.

Mend our brokenness and turn our scars into something beautiful.

I ask that you would bless all those who read this and heal their wounded places.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen

Please write your requests in the comments below.

    1. God bless you dear Kim. I have been praying for you ever since reading the about/testimony on your blog. You are in my heart today and many prayers for strength, healing and hope as you persevere through chronic, debilitating pain. Hugs.🤗🙏❤

      1. Thank you for your prayers and being an intercessor for others! Nothing helps more than to get our minds off of ourselves and what we are going through and have compassion for someone else. You don’t need to pray for me…….however, now that I found you, I will PRAY FOR YOU!

  1. Amazing, love the prayer of Saint Francis.

I ask that you take Lord this fear away from my heart as I will be scheduling thyroid surgery for later in the month of August. I ask that you comfort my heart and so that I may leave everything in your hands, and accept your will. Amen! 😊🙏🏽

      1. Thank you! Since then, surgery was rescheduled for November.
I still feel a bit of fear in my heart, as I’m always nervous of the unknown and not to mention operating rooms.
But I’m praying to have this all settle within me, to go in there comforted that the Lord will continue to do His will.
Thank you as always Vivian! You are such a great support and I appreciate you so much.

      2. Yes, that’s what I was thinking. I understand the fear. With ptsd fear is something I face a lot. I wanted to ask, is the thyroid removal out or in patient surgery? I will be praying lots. I’m sure you will ask prayer group for prayer too. Praying for comfort in the weeks leading up and for peace.

      3. Thank you! Yes, fear tends to always linger there. Yes, it’s considered outpatient but because he’s going to place a drain which he wants to check up on the next day to make sure it’s working properly. I’ll most likely be discharged soon after that the next day. I’ll leave however with the drain and return to his office in three days to have it removed. Should be fun! 🤔🙄😏
There was a lady that once said, ‘I’m so tried of the white coats,’ speaking of doctors. Lol I share the same feelings. 😂

      4. Thank you! I’m sure perhaps I will, as after all surgeries, your body does needs time to recover. Our poor bodies have been through so much Vivian, it’s both incredible and amazing how were both still standing, thank the heavens for that. 😊🙏🏽

      5. I wish I could come help you Ana. That’s one reason why I get discouraged because I love helping others but my body can’t. I’m with you though in spirit. I’ll be praying lots during that time. Yes, it is incredibly amazing! I’m sure I’ve told you the joke between my mama and I….I tell her I’m really hard to kill!😁😂😂We laugh about it because otherwise it’s just too much.

      6. Awe thank you! It’s ironic because we do need help, but then, I don’t want it because I’d hate to have someone see me at my worst. You know?! Do you have an easy time accepting help? I do from my mom, but with others, it’s hard to accept it.
Oh gosh yes! I had so many surgeries and yet, I’m still here! Haha! 😊🙏🏽

      7. Yes, I understand that. I still hold to what dignity is left…..even if it’s a small shred. I love the help but since my mom is in a wheelchair she can’t much. I have asked for help but got none. I would gladly accept it if someone would but no one wants to yet my kids and sister in law has been very good. She takes them shopping, or to the movies……which is very kind. Big hugs sweetie! I’m praying. Keep me posted. 🤗🤗

      8. I agree. When I have asked for help and the same, don’t get it, people have lives and they’re busy, so I understand.
So glad your sister in law helps you though. That’s so incredibly sweet of her. God bless her!
        Likewise Vivian! Thank you. 😊🙏🏽

    1. Thank you Ana. I was able to rest a little. She was helpful in discussing why I’m so nauseated after walking and believes it could possibly have something to do with the equilibrium and my cerebellum. Also, my back was SO out of wack, not only my trapezius muscle but my para spinal muscles too. I will need a few days to recover. Thank you for cherished prayers. I’m praying for you constantly my friend. 🤗🙏💖💖

      1. Awwww, yes we encourage each other. That’s a good question Ana. I am due back in a few weeks to talk more but she acted very unconcerned about it. 😣 This is typical of TBI. 😔

      2. Yes, so very frustrating. I hope she and I can talk more soon but her not being overly concerned does comfort me somewhat. She did advise me to not push myself when walking, to listen to my body and not go any further than what I know I can handle. 🙏👣👣

      3. Oh yes! That’s so important. I don’t know how many times I’ve saved myself from dropping, my legs want to give out on me all the time. It’s such a crucial thing, to listen to our bodies – always.

      4. True Ana, but I’m not good at this. I’ve fallen into a pattern of feeling somewhat human, and getting that burst of energy to only overdue, and get set back again. I just don’t know how to be mommy with TBI. It feels impossible but God says all things are possible so I must believe.

      5. Yes, that feeling is felt by so many of us living with chronic pain. You’re not alone Vivian in your feelings. And God gives us many reasons to keep standing and keep living, our children, our spouses. They are our reasons to why we are here today. I once told my therapist – which I haven’t seen in about a month because I’ve been full of doctors appointments and they just wear me out! But I once told her, who lives like this, who gets up in the morning and goes to sleep at night in pain, who needs help taking care of their own children because they can’t ‘over’ do it?! She said, you. Yes, she’s right. Me. And you Vivian, and so many others out there, making it happen because we have no other choice but to keep pushing regardless of the pain that we’re in.
These are the cards, but we have someone far greater than our pain, and that’s God. He’s watching, He’s listening, and He’s comforting you through this pain your feelings, physical and emotional pain.

      6. Ooh I needed this comfort Ana. Tears. Good ones. Yes, you, me and so many others, we didn’t choose this but we have to choose to push through and never ever ever give up. God is using you tonight to lift me up and I praise and thank Him for you dear friend. We CAN do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Thank you for understanding my pain and taking the time to write such amazing words of hope. 😢😢🙏💚💜

      7. Oh I know these days too well. Doctors appointments tend to be especially hard. I’m not sure why. I think it may be a mixture of many things, I have to leave my house, the thought of leaving my house, having to get ready to leave my house, knowing I have to ‘retell my pain’ to a doctor that may or may not agree or know what I’m feeling. It’s draining! It’s so draining.
But just like this day began, a new day will begin tomorrow.
I’m so glad I was able to comfort you, even just a tiny bit. God has a way of telling us and guiding us towards someone when they’re in need. Many many hugs! Hope you have been able to rest. 😊🙏🏽

    1. Awww, you’re so welcome! As I have many moments of down time while I heal, and issues with my eyes, it allows for me more time to be able to pray for others and I’m grateful for that. Much love!🌹🤗
