Surviving a massive brain stem stroke is almost never heard of especially at the young age of 28……but Emily did and lived to tell her miraculous story! God had a plan for her life and now she offers hope to many who suffer. Her motto is: Hope, Faith, Believe! 🌻

My beautiful friend Emily just launched a blog and a podcast telling her story. Check it out here and be blessed abundantly! Her journey of survival, recovery, and healing from a massive brain stem stroke is truly amazing. πŸ’š

This gorgeous poem was written by my Emily dedicated to me! She has a huge heart and loves with such refreshing sweetness! Emily, you are a gemstone and a treasured gift!

You are my special friend; you belong in my heart. Always you are!!! Nothing can tear us apart.
I know you as a sister, and I will always care.
Love, respect, and trust are the things we share. So Real!!!

I know you as a person; I especially know you as a friend.
Our friendship is something that will never end.
Right now, this second, this minute, this day,
Our sisterhood is here, is here to stay.

My friendship with you is special and true.
When we are finally together, we stick like glue.
When I’m in the darkness that needs some light, You are my light & Im yours
When you’re by my side, I VISUALIZE YOU, I know things are all right.

Our friendship is so strong; it breaks down bars.
Our friendship is also bright, like the sun and the stars. We look at the moon, we both look & we are seeing the same one!
If we were in a competition for friendships, we would get a gold!!
Because responsibility, loyalty and cleverness are the keys we hold.

I met you as a stranger, took you as a friend.
I hope our long friendship will never end.
Our friendship is like a magnet; it pulls us together,
Because no matter where we are, our friendship will last forever….
Life would not be the same without someone like you,
You’re there when I need you to help me through.
Through the good times and through the bad,
Be them happy or be them sad.

I don’t have to be with you to know you’re there.
We don’t have to see each other to know that we care.
We could be apart for years upon end
and still remain the best of friends.

Life goes on, and people change,
And through it all, our friendship shall remain the same.
That’s such as a life, and how things come to be.
Just thought you should know

        My favorite part!

I’ve learned from my son that the most minute thing to happen to the brain causes tremendous affects on the body. It’s both amazing and scary. She’s an amazing lady!

      1. Thanks Vivian and Muffin 🐈 meowed her appreciation for the nice comment as well. I have serious health problems as well so it helps me a bit to understand what others go through. Sounds like you have a great friend there. Have a great day!

      3. Hi Vivian, I know you had a post out this morning about your pets and now I can’t seem to find it. I was going to comment on it earlier but I wasn’t logged in at the time. They were beautiful pics of your pets! God bless.
