This verse pairs great with 1 John 1: 9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all righteousness.
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
When my daughter and I rehearse our verses before bed, this is the second one we always say. I pray it helps her as it has me in life with pouring out our confession of sin before God and receiving the cleansing forgiveness that we so much need.

He was so excited to do this for her! My oldest son had made her a swing last year but the rope snapped so she couldn’t swing anymore. This one my dad ordered and had delivered, then my son was able to put it up in no time. It was a birthday gift! 🤗💖

Thanks for sharing some of your favorite scripture. The verse from Psalm 51 is used in Lutheran liturgy. It is a great verse to remember.
