God has given me the amazing opportunity to share my story and hope through Fran at keys2concussion TBI podcast!! I prayed so much over this and God gave me the strength to relate in detail the journey of my TBI from beginning to the present. I’m pretty tired now, but as I rest and recover, I pray that whoever chooses to listen ( it’s only 27 minutes ) will be blessed to hear my testimony and story which underscores the awesome power of God.
Much love!!

Bless your heart. I could hear most of your podcast but my sound has been troubled lately.
It just hit me that this is what my son died from …blunt force..from an accident. He was alone which is good but the sudden ‘lose’ is something you never really get over. He has now been gone longer than he was here .The bitter sweet is we miss him but have someone waiting for us .

As I think of our friendship, I begin to see
Mere words can’t describe what you mean to me.
When this cold, hard world has me lonesome and blue,
I look up to see my angel, my sweet angel, you.
You dry the tears that fall from my eyes.
You bring me sunshine to brighten my sky.
You rescue me when I’m scared and alone
And take my hand to lead me home.
No matter the miles that keep us apart,
We’re always together in each other’s hearts.
Sometimes we take for granted, I fear,
The ones who are so close and dear.
We get so caught up in life and things we must do.
Sometimes we forget to stop and say I love you.
If ever you felt I forgot or didn’t care,
Let me stop right now; my true feelings I’ll share.
You’re the sun in my sky, the bed where I lie.
You’re the home where I’m safe, the field where I play.
You’re everything I am, everything I do.
So what I am saying is I LOVE YOU!

I listened this morning while getting ready to have a cat scan done of my sinuses. I am so sorry that you have to go through so much pain and suffering! God has a plan through all our trials and pain. God surely has had you in His hands! Praying for you!

I haven’t gotten the results back yet from the CT or from the bloodwork to test me for airborne allergies. The good news is my hearing has returned to my right ear this weekend, after being deaf for a month in it, with only a terrible roaring sound. I credit that to people praying for me, but still got a croupy cough, with something akin to a terrible chest cold. The sinus pressure has eased up a lot. I have had chronic sinus problems for years, and had surgery two years ago. But here I am again. I have to wonder if I didn’t have walking pneumonia this time. They never did an X-ray to check. Whatever it was, it had me in bed for almost a month! I am so thankful that I’m getting better! I hope I can at least find out what I’m allergic to! Thank you so much for your concern! That is so sweet of you! How are you doing?

Renee, you have really been struggling lately!! I will continue to pray for you, your sinuses, hearing, and allergies. Even just having one of those issues is an overwhelming challenge! I’m glad you’re seeing improvement and will pray they figure out your allergy so you can get treated for it. Big hugs!! Prayers.
Awww, thanks for asking. The podcast wore me out the rest of the week but I’m recovered from it now, just normal TBI stuff mostly. Many hugs! 🤗🤗💚🙏🙏🙏

I will make it somehow with God in my corner! He’s in control! 🙌 My stuff is just peanuts compared to what you go through on a daily. Thank you for praying for me! It means so much, and I will do the same for you! 🤗💐

Yes, he will strengthen and keep you with His unending strength. I will continue to pray for you dear Renee. It’s not peanuts, we all struggle and hurt at times. I pray God keeps me compassionate to others who suffer because chronic pain and suffering can breed self pity and self centeredness which is scary. My daughter’s sinus issues, allergies etc. Leaves her wiped out at times as I’m sure it does you. It’s not fun, nor is this horrible cough/chest thingy that’s been going around. Much love Renee and I SO appreciate your prayers too. 🤗💖

Vivian, I learned much from your podcast. You did an excellent job. Your story takes me back to the 1970s when one cousins suffered TBI after a car accident. He was a passenger in the backseat, and the brain injury was severe. He survived, but with very limited skills and the ability to live on his own. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for listening!! I’m honored you took the time and know how short we all are on time, so it means so much. Oh wow! Yes, and the seat belt laws were non existent as we all weren’t wearing them that morning. I’m sorry about your cousin, but glad he made it! God bless you always!!

Wow, that podcast was amazing! You are very well-spoken, and presented such useful information. I appreciate also that you included chiropractic work, as well as using the medicines that God gave us (essential oils, eating healthy, cutting gluten). Those were some tough experiences you had, and it is a blessing to see you giving all glory to God!

The podcast was incredible Vivian. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your truth with so many. You are helping so many that are going through the same.
I live with Chiari and although they aren’t the same, the symptoms are so similar! Wow! It’s both unfortunate but very encouraging. God wanted me to listen to it today. I needed to know I wasn’t alone.
Thank you again dear friend! Praying for you. 😊🙏🏽

Oh dearest Ana, even though we have different conditions the symptoms are similar which makes my heart ache for you. Any illness that effects the brain, spine and neurological function is so difficult because those are the core systems of our body that allow us to properly function. I’m honored you could listen because we’ve been friends for many months now and I know you struggle with sound issues like me, so thank you!! You are not alone in this sweetheart!! Big hugs, tears* and hopeful prayers for you always. 🙏💖

Yes, that’s so important, to know we are not alone, Gods hand has been with us. And like you and I, there are many others living with similar conditions.
Thank you again sweet friend for sharing your journey 🙏🏽💕 Likewise, big, big hugs!

There are so many illnesses, and I think many of us long to be understood. It’s a fight to be heard, but God gets it, understands, and can sympathize. Doing the podcast was a blessing because I’ve gotten great feedback and it was an encouragement to others. I’m so thankful God used it to be a blessing to others and to YOU. I prayed so much before I was recorded and He sustained me. It wasn’t easy though but worth it. Much love dear Ana! 🙏💚

Oh I know, there were some parts in the podcast where I got choked up, and to hear you pushing along and still speaking without breaking down in tears. Only God! Only God.
Many times I can speak on my condition and be ok, but other times, I can just break down crying mid-sentence.

Your right Ana….only God! I did not say a lot of what happened with my accident because it would have made me cry…..I struggle to this day to speak of it because it was so horrific and they never let me see pictures of the van. Emily counseled me beforehand to step outside of my emotions a bit going into the podcast, and I’m so glad she did. Yes, and pushing along was a lot harder than I could have described as I know you get and understand. Oh Ana! I praise God for you and your life and friendship!🙏🌷
