One Year Blogging Anniversary and Viv’s Blog Party!!๐ŸŽ‰

Yes!! One year!! I can hardly believe it!! It’s been a challenge but has also been greatly rewarding as well! I’ve been richly blessed with new friendships and blogging has given me a sense of purpose in my suffering, as I minister to others who suffer.

Okay, so let’s have some fun, fun, fun!!

This is our party and as your hostess, please follow me and feel free to mingle.

At every party there must be lots of talking, laughing, and just having fun, so please;

**Share your blog. Your purpose for blogging. Your heart. I want to hear about YOU.

**Read other’s comments and show the love by liking their comments and following them. It’s loads of fun and so rewarding!

I met one of my closest friends Kim from a blogging party last year hosted by Savannah. Kim and I do regular Bible studies together 3ร— a week and chat via voice clips daily. Her friendship has become so special to me and I praise God for the blog party last May that led me to her!!

So, like, comment, and talk. Find new bloggers with the same purpose and interests and you never know, you just may find your own “Kim” and be blessed beyond what you could ever dream of.

I love you all!!

  1. It has been such a blessing for me as well, Vivian! Iโ€™m so thankful for your friendship and the fact that we can help each other limp to Jerusalem. Our Bible studies and conversations about their applications have helped me through a very difficult winter. Iโ€™m so glad to have the opportunity to comfort each other as we have been comforted by God (2 Cor. 1:3-5). We rejoice when the other rejoices, and we weep when the other weeps (Romans 12:15).

The purpose of my blog is to attempt to fulfill Jesusโ€™ command to โ€œgoโ€ and โ€œmake disciplesโ€ (Matthew 28:19-20). Technology has been a blessing to me in two regards: helping my homebound body be able to โ€œgoโ€ to the โ€œnationsโ€ and finding such a wonderful friend in you.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my blog: https://commissionedbyhim1.wordpress.com/

  2. Congrats dear Vivian. You are doing good with this blogging thing. I wish I could say the same but still find it hard to ‘get ‘ into it. Why do I blog? Good question. Reason has changed over the years. I started out wanting to jump into crafting challenges but that was a bore. Now I sometime show my crafting but also repost a lot. Some of my blogs that I follow just have such good things to say I want others to read them too. I have opened an Etsy shop for my greeting cards at latebloomingdesigns on Etsy and my blog of course is moreinkpleaseblog.com
Keep up the great work you are doing as God uses you to encourage others. Love you.

  4. Wow! a year already, time sure flies. Congratulations! And wishing you many more. You have been quite an inspiration and a gift to know, Viv.

My blog is my journey into getting to know our Lord intimately and sharing with others this love. It’s a hodgepodge of different topics, music, poetry, sharing other’s thoughts/post, all relating, centering on Jesus Christ/Yahushua Ha Mashiach, โ€œThe Anointed Oneโ€. It’s with His blessings and the great people I’ve encounter that makes it worth wild. My blog is called thelostcoinblog (one long word); https://thelostcoinblog.wordpress.com . My goal is to encourage, and uplift ๐Ÿ™‚ hopefully educate how awesome our Heavenly Father truly is, as I too learn from Him. We all learn from one another.

Thank you for initiating this ‘blog party’, great idea!
You’re in my prayers dear Vivian, much love and many blessings to you and family.

  5. Happy Anniversary Sis Viv! Thank you for this invite to your beautiful blogging party. It has been an honor knowing your heart through your writings. Your transparency is always refreshing. May the Lord continue to encourage and strengthen you with each step you take.

My page is called Imago Dei at https://deandrahurst.com/ where I hope to share the lessons I learn through the Holy Spirit in hopes of pointing others to Christ. Daily we are called to reflect His image and so my prayer is that the writings always showcase this.

Congrats again, and thank You for inviting us to share your stage.

  6. Congrats Vivian!! What a great idea to have a blogging party, I always love reading each persons reason for blogging when bloggers host these!!

I blog at https://forhispurpose.blog/ and pretty much the name of my blog says it all..I blog For His Purposeโ€”to point others to Christ for His glory. I oftentimes try to write out of life application paired up with Biblical truth and reasoning, through lessons learned or current happenings in my day to day life. My testimony is told throughout my post and some of it is dark and raw, but itโ€™s real and honest and always points to Jesus.

I love writing! Iโ€™m not a professional, by no means, but it has provided an outlet for me. I have met wonderful new friends here!

      2. That means so much. I’m a crazy cat lady and proud of it! It’s hard because being mostly homebound my pets are so important. They are the ones who don’t judge and love me for the mess I am. Bless you and thanks.

        enjoy this actual conversation
        following on from https://thenurseanewbook.wordpress.com/โ€ฆ/what-we-learn-in-โ€ฆ/
Actual conversation following I believe in angels
โ€œThe nurseโ€: C, why do you always have so many angels always helping you… throughout your life. I never have that!โ€
Me: โ€œItโ€™s because of my charm (“irresistable”), of course, m (and you’re just so efficient and competent (boringly)!”
The nurseโ€โ€ NO. Itโ€™s because youโ€™re so useless and look helpless; so they, your “oddball” friends and other people feel sorry for you and they know that anybody (even a six year old) will do a better job than you.โ€
We have to have a sense of humour to get through life at times – it really does help.
โ€œLife is far too important (a subject) to be taken too seriously!โ€

      2. Oh those sure sound good!! My mouth watered….lol!!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‰

Maybe it is your charm!! Lol!! Yes, keeping a sense of humor is huge! I think I have lost some of mine though Craig. My kids say I’m touchy and cranky. I get all bent out of shape if anyone says anything just a hint negative about my brain. Then I get huffy. I need your easy going carefree views on this because I think I take my TBI way too seriously these days.

  11. Congratulations! Here’s one more follow for the ever-growing followers’ count,

    My name is Rahul Gaur.

In these random impressions, and with no desire to be other than random, I indifferently narrate my factless autobiography, my lifeless history. These are my confessions, and if in them I say nothing, itโ€™s because I have nothing to say. โ€“ Fernando Pessoa

This sums up what the blog is about. Like Pessoa was able to put words to my thoughts, I hope I can do the same for you, reader.
