Soft Hearted

“A soft heart in a cruel world is not a sign of weakness but courage.”

This encouraging quote was on a church sign that we passed today and I just had to share. May we keep on loving like Jesus loved with a tender heart that is unafraid to show His love in a broken and fallen world.

      1. Yes, Renee’s heart is so tender. I can’t help but being sure it has been broken a time, or two, or even three 😘. The Lord does that so we do not have hearts made of stone 🙌🏽

  12. My sweet, soft hearted friend. You know what it is like to be trampled on like a rose. To be rejected, isolated, broken and even feel shattered. Through it all though, I see God rebuilding you and shaping you and molding you into a beautiful masterpiece. I see Him showing you off to everyone as His prized dove. Keep being pliable my precious friend, as the Master perfects His process. Love you, truly ❤️❤️

      1. Giggles! I feel this impression upon reading this that He is reminding us that He can use the unlikeliest of things to bless us. He’s the God who turned water into wine in order to bless a wedding party. He’s the God who released manna from heaven and water from a rock. He’s the one who can provide a buffet from five loaves and two fishes. He’s the God who keeps the flour and oil from running out. Viv, I’m so thankful to be a witness to what He’s doing in your life. 🤗❤️

  17. I see so many sadly become bitter because they were giving, compassionate or understanding and it got trampled. Jesus teaches us to do all of these things without reward. I think when we get hurt we get fixated on me, me, me. I know I’ve struggled with it before. But Jesus carries the burden of others and the pain they inflict. I don’t need human understanding, but the peace of the Holy Spirit to walk forward. Recently, this has been a great comfort to me. I don’t have to understand anything for Christ to bear the burden, and that’s kind of the point, too ❤
