Shine

Moon’s dusty ashen surface

No inner light of thine

Yet you beam sun’s reflection

In darkness you can shine

Dark clouds release the heavens

Cleansing all below

But not without the light

Shines hue of God’s rainbow

Down in deepest well

Lights in sky around

They can’t be seen in daylight

Well’s depths where stars are found

No matter where you are

In valleys or on hill

You can glow in darkness

His brilliant light shines still
